While the After School tuition is normally charged monthly at $550 per month, we switch to charging daily/weekly for the months of May, June, and August due to the summer program schedule. This means that, from May 1^st, you will pay a daily tuition charge of $27.50 for each day (in the first week of May or June AND weekly tuition charge of $137.50 for each week after the daily tuition charge before summer vacation starts. Once your child's school is out for summer vacation, you will begin paying the weekly charge associated with whatever summer program schedule you sign up for.

Starting Summer Vacation

Example 1: if your child's school starts summer vacation on Tuesday, May 23rd, (Thursday), 2019, you will count how many school days and weeks are in May and multiply it by $27.50 for each day and by $137.50 for each week. So, if there are 3 school days in the first week of May 2019 and 3 weeks in May before your child's school starts summer vacation, you will pay $495 (3 days times $27.50 plus 3 weeks times $137.50) for your child’s May tuition. Then, you would begin paying the weekly summer tuition amount starting the week of May 27^th. 

Example 2: if your child’s school starts summer vacation on Monday, June 17^th, 2019, assuming the last day of the school is June 13th, you will pay $550 for May and count how many school days in the first week of June and weeks are in June and multiply it by $27.50 for each day and $137.50 for each week. So, if there is 5 school days in the first week of June 2019 and 1 week in June before you child's school starts summer vacation, you will pay $275 (5 days times $27.50 plus 1 week times $137.50) for your child’s June tuition. Then, you would begin paying the weekly summer tuition amount starting the week of June 17^th.

Example 3: if your child’s school starts summer vacation on Monday, June 24^th, 2019, assuming the last day of the school is June 20^th, you will pay $550 for May and $412.50 for June (5 days times $27.50 plus 2 weeks times $137.50). Then, you would begin paying the weekly summer tuition amount staring the week of July 1st.

Starting School in the Fall

Example 4: if your child’s school ends summer vacation on Friday, August 16^th, 2019, you will count how many school weeks are in August and multiply it by $137.50. So, if there are 2 school weeks in August, you will pay $275 for August tuition. Then, you would begin paying $550/month starting September.

Example 5: if your child’s school ends summer vacation on Friday, August 23rd, 2019, you will count how many school weeks are in August and multiply it by $137.50. So, if there are 1 school week in August, you will pay $137.50 for August tuition. Then, you would begin paying $550/month starting September.

 Although this may sound complicated, it allows you the flexibility to sign up for only as many weeks in the summer as you want, without having to deal with prorating if you decide not to enroll in our summer program right away or want to take a vacation during one of those months.
