Teamwork: Parents, Optimus, and Students

September 18, 2019

Optimus Learning School always wants the absolute best for its students. To provide the best services, we have many tools that allow us to keep track of students' progress and much more. One of our remarkable services is that we make daily comments on your student's behavior and academic status, and we make a note of whether or not your students completed their homework. Parents can view these comments on the myOLS app by 7:00 pm each day to ensure that their student has completed their homework for the day. If the homework is marked incomplete, the student should complete the assignment at home.

Here at Optimus, we do our very best to ensure that all homework is finished correctly and that the students are prepared for their upcoming lessons. However, Optimus cannot do everything. To make sure that students are getting all of their homework done, parents should be checking the myOLS app every day. We have noticed that many parents do not utilize this service. To guarantee that parents are checking the myOLS app, we will be reviewing each student account once a month. We will log in to see whether or not parents are reading the information provided by Optimus's remarkable teachers. If we notice after checking your student's account that you have not been checking the myOLS app regularly, we will be in contact with you to make sure that you know how to use our app correctly.

The parents must be involved in their student's academic journey. To help along the way, Optimus provides a comment regarding why their homework was not completed, and an indicator will also show you if the homework was completed, incomplete or if they received no homework for the day. Another indicator will also show you their academic and behavior status. It is essential to check the app to know how your student is doing here at Optimus.

To see progress in your student's academics, the student, parents, and Optimus must work together as a team. If we do not work together, the goals set for your student's academic success will not be met. Optimus wants the very best for all of its students and encourages that we work together as a team to do so.
