The Best of Both Worlds

May 17, 2017

Different cultures call for different styles of learning. Some cultures stress the importance of discipline and education; other cultures stress the importance of freedom and creativity. It is difficult to combine two seemingly incompatible cultures and create a culture with both discipline and creativity.

This ideal is what Optimus works hard towards every day.  We encourage students to focus on education and discipline, but we also foster creativity and innovation at the same time. Being disciplined to study hard makes it easier for you to come up with creative ideas and implement them in new ways. Looking back on history we can see that the smartest and most innovative figures that influenced global development were both well-educated and creative.

At Optimus, we emphasize how crucial it is for students to learn the best of both worlds. The extreme discipline practiced by some cultures combined with the freedom that other cultures enjoy to innovate can create a generation of truly tremendous young people. Optimus Learning School provides students with both strong discipline and the flexibility they need to be creative. Come in to Optimus and take a look at how we demonstrate the best of both worlds as our students learn and express themselves.

"Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way" -Edward de Bono
